Big game today for Dallas. 2 records could be made today, I believe. Emmitt needs 93 yards for the record and Seattle gives up like 190 yds on the ground. Emmitt REALLY, REALLY wants to get it here today, in Dallas. If he doesn't, they'll have 2 road games next, so he probably won't be able to get it done at home again. Now for the other record you may not know: Darren Woodson needs only 2 tackles to be the all-time leading tackler for the Cowboys. Sadly, his record will go virtually unnoticed due to #22. Another thing going on is Dallas is starting Mr. Chad Hutchinson. Don't know how he'll due, but I imagine he won't due too well. He's probably still going to have a lot of rust and he is not used to the 1st team offense. I heard that they'll be doing a lot of handoffs because of Chad, making Emmitt's run at the record even easier. Chad will find out how bad Robert Thomas is shortly in the game when everyone is blocked except an average LB who's headed straight for him. When he gets up, he see his FB just standing there, probably saying sorry. (he better.) Ok...that's about it for now. WOOO!
1st drive for the Cowboys and Emmitt has it down to 65 yds. Chad is not really impressing. He missed badly his 1st pass, made a 1st down right after, but just now he basically made an INT, but the guy has butterfingers. Theirs my update. Crap...already punting.
Emmitt is off to a good start. Chad almost made a Quincy Carter bad play...an out of pocket pass to the wrong team...coming up short. The defender dropped a pass right to him.
Dang. I don't know if Seattle is this bad or Emmitt is really hyped because he's running pretty well. Now he needs 52 yds.
I think Emmitt is going to lose all his energy changing his shoes and jersey out every break. Cowboys just intercepted the ball.
End of 1st. Emmitt is changing jerseys every qtr so that he can give them away, or something like that. He gets one, Jerry Jones gets one, a charity gets one, and I forgot the other one. I think Pat said he's down to 38yds. Yeah, suprisingly they are. Crap. Fumble. By Emmitt, I think.
Dilfert out with apparent Achilles injury. The quality of this game just went farther South than it already was. If Cowboys lose this one, then I'm amazed.
Pennington is GOD. He is like the Rally Monkey mixed with the Terrible Towels. Do Not Question the Pennington.
I knew this would happen. Johnston (sp?) is sick and tired of Thomas just going through the motions, and he is going to suit up and block for Emmitt. Emmitt will then get a 36 yd run and break the record. Hmm...ok.
Ok, at this pace Emmitt will be in 7th place on the rushing list. The line has stopped their good blocking.
Yeah...this game has turned into another comical farce. So much for Emmitt's record. The lousy game may be more memorable. Something better change soon. The line was blocking well. Then, they decided they have had enough of the blocking factor and are content with being beat up on their home turf by the worst defense in the league.
I could have sworn the announcer just called Seattle's qb Dilfer on that last play. Umm...try and get the names right. Dilfer is injured...remember?
We might as well put Stoner...I mean Stoerner in. Check out everybody's potential. We still got him, right?
