Not that this is important in the scheme of the loss last night... But my co-worker (who knows I am a Rockets fan) heard on the Radio today and I quote "I heard on the radio this morning that some Australian guy who plays for the Rockets had surgery to have a tumor removed and they think he has testicular cancer" Since Newley is the only Australian I know of involved with the Rockets, I searched the news online for anything about him but found nothing. Has anyone else heard this rumor? Thanks
I can only hope that it was a misheard report of Nene (since his problem is 'confirmed' and thus would mean no one else has been afflicted) and the Nuggets.
Gosh, I hope whomever it is recovers... Here is a thought, maybe they can send the cancerous ball to Tmac so he finally has at least one.
It's entirely possible that she heard it wrong, but I just thought I would ask to see if yall had heard anything. Though the fact that she said Australian not Brazilian made me think she had heard correctly. Hopefully it is only Nene, not that its good for Nene, but one person struggling with it is bad enough.
