Rudy's new sideline mannerism

    Everytime I see Rudy on the sideline, he's working that piece of gum pretty hard. Any ideas as to when this started? I don't remember this being common in the past. Is it a new nervous habit? He sure seems to have more in his mouth that he can handle. Does he still have that rubberband around his wrist, I thought that was his little trick to calm his nerves?

    I like the hyper-gum-chewing-banty-rooster Rudy better than the
    old rumpled-never-look-you-in-the-eye-I'm-so-shy-sleepy-looking Rudy.

    Rudy seems to be a little more pumped this year on the sidelines. You can tell he has missed competing.

    BTW didn't Rudy looked a little sauced during Hakem's retirement cerimony during halftime. I died laffing when he was on the mic doing the impersonation of the dream shake.
