Just wondering if either or both Rox and Knix would trade:

    MoT
    Cato

    Spree
    Thomas

I mean, I would for the Rox. I might even if I were the Knix...

    And you???

    STOP

    WITH

    THE

    STUPID

    ASS

    TRADES.

It's getting ridiculous. At least make them realistic and think about it before you propose it.

Truth be told I would rather have an improved Nachbar out then then Sprewell. He's younger, fits in better, and is versatile, but I don't know what's taking him so long to develop unless Rudy is bringing him along slowly as well.

    MoT + Cato = $13.7m vs Spree + Thomas = $17.2m

    Trade not accepted.

If you want to propose a trade, please do your homework first.

with 15% + 100K it's close enough to get things started. The point, however, is whether these players moving would benefit all. It was an amusing musing not a trade offer...

That's easy. Rudy brings players along slower than any other coach in the league.

Why is this such a dumb trade? The Knicks need to get bigger. Spreewell plays the same position as Houston. Maybe the Catomic Bomb is the best center the Knicks can get. And I like the way that Thomas plays. He would be a great backup center for Yao and can also play power forward. My biggest problem is that I don't know where the Rockets would play Spree once Cat comes back from injury. Both are shooting guards. I think that Spree would start, which would really piss Cat off.

The trade also can be worked out from a cap perspective since I think the Knicks can trade their cap exception for the injury to McDyess.

Don't think the knicks would go for this.... and on second thought, we really don't need sprewell.. at all.

Thomas is a better player than Cato and Sprewell is a better player than Mo Taylor.

Why would the Knicks give up their two best players for an underacheiver and a soft bigman who is coming off a major injury?

We don't need Spree. Thomas, on the other hand, is worth pursuing.
