A couple of weeks ago, Steve Francis was without doubt the NBA's top rookie. well, im not sure about that anymore, Elton Brand's numbers are improving more and more, and Stevie's chances are deminishing especially when you look at his shooting the past three games.....4/29?!?!?!?! what's going on??!!

Well...according to Costas, Francis has no chance now that he didn't score 50 against the Clippers.

If Brand and Francis play equal the rest of the season, Brand deserves it (as much as I don't like him or the Bulls). Stevie has just played too poor lately while Brand has played so solid. The numbers don't lie here, Stevie has got to pick it up big time.

I predicted like a few months into the season that the rookie race would be between Odom and Francis, then Odom would drop out and Brand would move in close with Francis with Brand winning R.O.T.Y I sure hope Francis can do it, but I think Brand is too good. I mean, 18 points and 10 rebounds are close to what Duncan averaged his rookie year (I think).
