I'm still kind of new around here as far as posting, but I'm aware that this board has a few excellent mix makers. I had an idea for a mix and was wondering if any of you would be up to the challenge. A ron artest mix where the first half would be the beginning of his career in chitown, indy (including the brawl and subsequent espn reports) and his sactown stint with the Ron Artest Cold Play song in the background and then it would change to breaking news that artest was traded to Houston and the song Somewhere I belong by linkin park would kick in with some Houston Artest highlights. Just an idea. I know this is probably a clutchfans cardinal sin creating a thread for this, but I had a dream about this the other day and haven't been able to get it out of my head.
If I were to make one just for Ron, which I probably won't do because of a lack of free time, I would not put a Linkin Park song over it. I also wouldn't be willing to track down halfway decent footage from Chicago/Indiana/Sacramento, especially since everything I get now (from batkins) is high quality. It just wouldn't go. On top of that, Ron's remix of Coldplay's "Lost" is not available to the general public, until Ron himself (or possibly Carmichael Dave) shares it. In other words, maybe someone else can give it a shot at some point, but it probably won't be me. Sorry. It's a project that would require much more time than I have right now.
too bad, seriously, your video's kick arse. they are all awesome. i'd like to see one with battier and scola, maybe some with hayes and their hustle over some hard stuff
Well just promise me you'll make some of your best mixes yet, if you have the time. The Not Alone mix was one of the best houston ones I have ever seen. We need some serious mixes though much like when Deliver Me hit a few years back. Both those mixes were just unreal.
