Does anybody think the Rockets trainer is to blame this year for the numerous amount of injuries that have occurred this year? I think there have been way too many injuries for this to be a coincidence. We just happen to have luck and lose every single player on our team for at least one game? Nah, I think it could possibly be the trainer.

I think it's just bad luck. No conspiracy, it's not Jone's fault, and I don't think it's because of the shoes. I think that we've just been unlucky lately.

Taylor - freak accident during un-monitored summer pickup game
Francis - wear-and-tear injury to the bottom of his foot plus a pre-existing migraine condition
Rice - pre-existing condition as the result of a previous injury

Those were the major injuries this year, none of which could have been prevented by Jones.

All I know is that the Rockets never had so many injuries when Falsone was the trainer. Keith Jones is the most loved trainer in the league because he is a buddy with all the players. Players hated Falsone because he had them stretch and work out untill they turn blue. I personally saw E-mail Davis call him "italian b*stard". When Keith became the trainer the injuries started to pour in and never have stoped. We had BP go down with ACL, E-mail with ACL, Kevin Willis had constant back problems, Charles and Hakeem were constantly out etc etc

Francis' foot problems were no accident, IMO. Check out the reviews on the shoes he has worn, if you've haven't seen them already:

    plantar fasciitis Exhibit A

    plantar fasciitis Exhibit B

Isn't the trainer partly responsible for making sure that the players aren't mutilating their feet every time they step onto the court? I think so...
