Rockets' top five man units

    I don't think I've ever seen a team with the top two most used line-ups being completely different sets of 5. What's also interesting is that those two line-ups would be top 5 ish in defense while the team overall is around average on defense.

    What a coaching nightmare of a team this is. Both in a good way and a bad way.

    yeah, that's rare.

    It is usually 3-4 starters with a 6th man who gets the 2nd most minutes.

    Even in our case, I would have thought it would have at least one starter in there...or even the original 5 with Hill and Budinger.

    interesting stats though. explains coach's sleepless nights..i would want to grow a goatee too, trying to figure out the best lineups

    I find it interesting that Bud and Hill figure prominently in a lot of those lineups but have seen their minutes dwindle.

    Of course these numbers are not adjusted and it's a small sample size.

    Hmm... should have put a hyphen in "five-man", I kind of read it as "man-units" now which would be a a WHOLE different kind of thread.
