I know, I know. Guilty as charged. Blame it on draft fever. I would not trade KT unless we could get Butler. I secretly hope that Butler would take over at the SG spot. Sorry Cuttino, but I like strong 6"7' guards that defend and rebound. I don't think Butler would need the ball as much as Cuttino, which leaves more shots for Franchise. I think Franchise defers shots to Cuttino out of friendship and loyalty. In time, I bet Steve would see that Cuttino is a better 6th man a la Vinnie the microwave Johnson. Cuttino could come in as a freakin scoring machine. On a championship caliber Rockets team, Cuttino would be the 6th Man of the Year every year. Dreamcast: 7th and 8th playoff spot in 2002 and 2003 Ming/Griffin/Rice/Cuttino/Francis Cato/MoTay/Butler/Moochie Contenders for the Western Conference crown in 2004. Ming/Griffin/Veteran SF like an Elie of old/Butler/Francis Cato/MoTay/Cuttino/Moochie.
I didn't realize Steve and Cat combined for that many steals. That has to be in the top 5 among backcourts.
Im dead serious. There are not too many teams who have their starting SG and PG to average almost a steal and a half a game. Maybe Philly with Iverson and Snow.
Man you know what I mean. I just wanted to know where Steve and Cat rank among backcourts as far as combined steals.
