Some of you may wonder why I made a thread about a seemingly average player busted for DUI. For those who don't know he was already on probation for killing a woman in a crash in which he was charged with DUI back in 1998. Link LADUE, Mo. (AP) — Rams defensive end Leonard Little was arrested and cited for driving while intoxicated, police said. In a 1998 fatal accident, he was driving drunk and pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaugher. Little was stopped for speeding on the highway early Saturday, and he was booked and released after being issued two traffic summons, police said. Police refused to answer questions about the arrest. The Rams referred questions to Little's agent, Rocky Arceneaux. Arceneaux did not immediately return a call from The Associated Press. Little went to his first Pro Bowl after last season and has played with the Rams his entire six-year career. He was fifth in the NFL in sacks last year. He was suspended for the first eight games of the 1999 season after pleading guilty in a 1998 crash that killed a woman. Little was sentenced to 90 days in the city workhouse and four years' probation, and ordered to perform 1,000 hours of community service. The accident took place after a night of celebrating on Little's 24th birthday
damn... he's the key to the Rams defense. they have no kind of pass rush when he's not in there. oh well... i guess i can still pin my hopes on the chiefs.
I think the rams defense should be the least of anyones worries.. this guy kills someone and still doesnt' take dui seriously enough to not do it again. I wouldn't want him on my team.. good player or not
yipengzhao.. I don't know.. this is the first time I've ever heard anything about it.. but judging by that article it seems like she died and he got dui so he should be doing jail time.. He is certainly not the first person to get dui.. and people are usually give a 2nd chance.. this guy goes and does it again.. no sympathy for him that is for sure..
I should add I kind of think the penalty should be the same no matter what.. the crime committed is dui.. you should still get just as harsh a penalty even if you were "lucky" and didn't kill anyone
