since i'm from holland i love it that we noow have 2 dutch players in the nba. I wasn't very fond of Rick Smits. he was overrated in holland. and because of him i almost always had to look at th epacers play off game instead of team that i liked. but now we have 2 other dutch player. Gadzurc and ofcourse elson. I wanted to know what nuggetsfans think of elson, do you think he wil play for the nuggets for some years. and what do you think are his positive and negative.
I love Elson. Nugs fans differ on this one a bit, but I'm real big on Elson because he is an INTELLIGENT player. It drives me insane ot see Chris Andersen getting so many props for his "great" play. He goes to make the block on every play and ends up picking up stupid fouls. Elson is the polar opposite, he doesn't make a lot of blocks or "spectacular plays", but he just plays hard. Good jumper actually. Surprisingly can make it from 15-18 feet out if he needs to shoot from there. I think he'll be a part of this team for years to come, and hopefully he'll start getting some more PT.
