Some of you may recall me talking about my back problem in Dookie Sandwich's "worms" thread. Well I went to the doc a week ago and he gave me some medicine and here is what he gave me: Skelaxin (muscle relaxer), Neproxen (anti-inflammatory) and I have been taking Vicadin/Hydrocodone (pain). I have been taking the Skelaxin and Neproxen together with no problem and I quit taking the V/H. I want to take the V/H though because it helps relive the pain and the other two just sort of loosen my muscles without taking away the soreness. Would it be harmful to take all three medications together or would it be OK?
This is definitely a question for a doctor. I wouldn't say this is a question to come to the BBS with.
Can't believe you guys post these kind of questions on a freakin' basketball bbs. No kidding man, seriously, were you just going to take a poll and then whatever combo had the most votes you'd take??? If your doctor's office is closed, call any local pharmacy (if it's late, call a 24 hr pharmacy like some Walgreens) and ask the pharmacist. They can help you.
Did the Doc know that you were already taking the other medicines when he prescribed them to you? Just call the docs office or ask the pharmacist at Walgreens or Eckards...or wherever.
Yes he knew because it was in my charts. He the prescribed me the other two. I found out it was OK though by calling a pharmacy. Hey DOD, do me a favor and delete this thread. Thanks!
