Hey CF members, I've had a nagging inquiry for the last couple months and wanted to see if yall could help.

Let me begin with my background. I'm Houston born and raised and wherever I go I'm always repping the H. If i were to ever become an NBA referee I can literally say I would be the most biased Rockets official ever. NOt consciously but subconsciously I just can't help it. It's in my blood.

So it led me to wonder. What about the real referees. They have to be born and raised somewhere too. They're human and naturally hae subconscious biases for their hometown or childhood team.

So I'm wondering if you guys know where Referees were born? Like on wikipedia it shows Joey Crawford coming from Philly. It would be interesting to see where these guys come from, if they officiate their team games, and if there are suspicious calls that arise from them.
