I'm moving to the Webster area for about a year. Does anyone know of any public basketball courts in the area?

There are two good ones that I am aware of with nice covered basketball courts.

One is off of NASA Rd. 1, take Upper Bay Road and follow it all the way down. It dead ends at a nice park on the lake.

Another one is Texas Avenue Park, located on Texas Avenue near Bay Area Blvd.

There's a ghetto one in Seabrook, I play at that one. I'm the fob with the flip flops, bandana, wife beater and a Honda.

This one is not as nice as it used to be. There are cracks in the concrete and the court is not level.

Back in my day (20 years ago), this was the best place to play. I used to be there for hours every night.

Countryside is usually where we'll play. Take Bay Area down towards Friendswood and it will be on your left after you pass 528.
