    I have to give props to John Paul Stevenson, the new Rockets PA announcer this season at the Toyota Center. He just adds another feel to the atmosphere at the arena. I especially love it when he announces Rafer, Shane, and Tracy's name after a basket. Rrrrrrrrrrafer Allllllston.... Very boomy voice and the arena literally rattles. It sounds like a siren is going off. His voice reminds me of Bob Ford, PA announcer for the Astros.

    So, props to JP and to the Rockets organization for a great hire.

    Everything about the Toyota Center atmosphere is better this year than it has been. The PA Announcer is a big part of that.
