Polls not an accurate indicator of Iran due to right's consistent messaging

11 years ago, before Trump was ever President, Rubio laid it the problem with Iran:


Since 2011, Trump has been vocal about Iran not having access to nuclear arsenal because of their radical leadership.

Many on the congressional left are thinking what Fetterman says out loud here:



No matter how much society evolves, embraces innovation and prosperity, radical Islam is a constant that never changes. They only prosper by keeping their people in the dark. No ideology has killed more people in the past 20 years. This was inevitable with their inability to comply with nuclear safeguards, take advantage of Obama or ease up on radical ideology-- it's been inevitable for decades.

President Trump dismissed polls showing low approval among Americans for the U.S. military operation in Iran, saying public sentiment actually reflects otherwise.

“I think that the polling is very good, but I don’t care about polling. I have to do the right thing. I have to do the right thing. This should have been done a long time ago,” Trump said in an interview with the New York Post published on Monday.

“I don’t think the polling is low,” he told the outlet. “Look, whether polling is low or not, I think the polling is probably fine. But it’s not a question of polling. You cannot let Iran, who’s a nation that has been run by crazy people, have a nuclear weapon.”

While I expect Trump's tone to change the more casualties arise and the longer it goes on, everyone from Hegseth to Vance have been clear --- this is tactical bombardment with a clear exit plan. While Trump's message is it can go for months if it needs to, that has to be said for the new Iranian leadership to not get too confident. I was hesistant about the need for it initially, we know radical Islam is a never ending wormhole, but this was the time to take a chance. While it's tough to deal with losing 6 servicemembers, and that will rise, the number will always be a fraction of the lives lost due to an ideology that never has been, and never will be compatible with the modern world.

 

MANY in the dem party agree with Fetterman --- but the anti semitism is so out of control they can't say it out loud. These are facts I'm hearing from Washington as well as the lack of aggression in coming out against it. It's a whimper atm. That will change the longer it goes on, but as long as there's a regime change by the summer, it will widely be seen as something that would have happened sooner or later. Diplomacy doesn't work with the Hamas types and the people that fund them.

 

They're not attacking Russia. They're not attacking China. They're attacking the same adversary from Trump's first term -- who kept killing American soldiers because they thought they could get away with it.

Then Biden released 6 billion in funds to Iran, removed terrorist designation and they funded Hamas to commit the biggest terrorist attack against Americans (yes, over 20 Americans died) in decades.

He removed terrorist designation for all their proxies -- In foreign policy shift, Biden lifts terrorist designation for Houthis in Yemen | PBS News -- and allowed them to strengthen. What the hell did he hope to accomplish by this?

All the while, everyone has known who Iran is and what they stand for (death to America) under an Islamofacist regime. They fight via proxies and the nuclear threat -- none of which they toned down. That in itself is the end game of Sharia and why Muslims are disproportionately running for office in America.

Trump has remained consistent about this for decades, going back to before I was born. Don't blame him for cleaning up Biden's mess.
