Please explain the Cap Space...

    Can someone please explain why we have no players and cap space on paper, but we need to trade Camby and Lowry BEFORE we can sign Asik and Lin? I thought we had a crap ton of space...

    Camby has a huge cap hold ... need to resolve that asap. The Lowry trade creates cap space. BimaThug can explain it better than I can.

    Everyone has what's called a cap hold. Camby's cap hold is 16.6 million. Plus we have Kevin Martin around 13 mil and Scola around 9. Once the Camby trade goes through, that will come off the books officially. Plus Courtney Lee hasn't been renounced.
