Plastic: Printing and Melding

    Anyone knows a good printer to do alot of Printing on plastics
    [like transparencies. . but maybe thicker]

    Also . .what type of tool does on use to melt two peices
    of plastic/vinyl together. . .. I'm working on a project

    in relation to your second question, the times i've bent plexiglass and komatex is done using heat. i used a special machine that had a metal bar that would heat up then you would hold the material over the bar where you wanted to bend it and the heat would react with the plastic and make it soft, thus allowing you to bend it... now to actually adhere two pieces you would need some sort of 2 part adhesive.

    I looked at some items in the store they seem to have some
    sort of . . . .poriforation[sp?] thing going on. Like on Packages
    they have these tracks around the edge of the connection. I
    was wonder what type of tool did that.

    I guess I'm looking for a starting point to look
    for such a tool. Plastic/Vinyl manufacturing tools
    are not easy to find in houston.
