NBA.con (ok, so it's nba.com) has 13 pics of the dunk contest on their website. All competitors except Steve are pictured. Hmm... anyone think that the higher-snobs in the NBA aren't happy with Steve? I mean, I know he had fairly lame dunks, but geez, to not even have one shot of him, but have shots of all the others seems a bit... harsh. Well, if you look at pic #2, you can see Steve watching Jason Richardson dunk.
Another chapter in Down with Francis and the Rockets by David Stern, available at Barnes & Noble for only $14.99 if you bring a burned Rockets jersey.
Just looking for start times of the all-star game... took me about 15 minutes to wade through the mess before I found it. Plus it gives me more ammo to say that nba.com is a hideous site not geared to fans, but to marketers and their victims. A site that has some of the worst inside reporting of its own sport and a reason why sites like Clutchcity.net should be allowed to freely display pics, video, etc. In short, Mr. Stern, let others do what you obviously can't do. I'm done.
Yup... it's a STERN conspiracy. He HATES the Rockets... did ya'll notice when he handed us the first championship trophy (back in the day) that he really had a hard time releasing it from his hands?? rH
Anyone who watched the Dunk contest noticed that Steve's final dunk was a basically a big FK You David stern I will dunk the way I want. Ok fellas we need a Nba phone number and an email so we can voice our displeasure of the "wheel" this weekend so that way next season the players who participate in the contect will not be subjected to this rediculous idea.
No way in hell they bring back the dunk competition next year. Its been said again and again: All-Star weekend was a COMPLETE flop, and the NBA is going to experience more and more downtime over the next few years, because the quality of the NBA has taken a serious downturn.
