This should be a simple problem but obviously I can't pull it off correctly. I have three similar images 200x300 pixels each. I want to put them all side by side on a white background with a little space between each? How do I do that? I know it's probably some very easy but I just can't get them lined up properly. I want each to be the exact size and distance apart from each other. Any help would be appreciated.
A simpler method would be to insert them into a Word Document. If they are too wide, try turning the page to landscape
Hmmmmm. You could also paste the pics into a Quark XPress document (or Adobe Pagemaker) and work from there (using crop tool, line guides, etc.). That's what I would do.
Even if it's photos I want to later put on the web? Eventually I want it to be one photo of the 3 photos together.
Just zoom in and eyeball the distance - you'll get it close enough that no one will be able to tell its not exact.
That was my first option but I was having a hard time lining up each of the 3 pics. I couldn't figure out how to copy and paste them on the new document then move them. Btw...in case no one has noticed, I like PS skills.
Sure. Word will convert pages to HTML, or using Frontpage, you can import the Word doc to an HTML page.
I got this suggestion from another site I frequent...it seems to be working for me: open all three in photoshop also open a new blank document at thesame resolution of a size you want to print drag each picture onto the new document with the move tool - they will each appear on a new layer and so can be moved individually and resized via the tranform command drag out some guides from the rulers (view rulers) to accurately line up your shots. Thanks for the help.
yeah.. i was going to suggest starting a new page, maybe 1000 pixels by about 400 pixels, then placing each image inside the new image, then space them, then crop the image to the size you want... it's more complicated to type it out than for me to just do it. the previous instructions seem fine.
