This was excellent because the NBA showed it lacks the ability to sell this new basketball. The rookie game they snubbed Griffin, no problem,the young guys showed the soph.'s who can hoop. The dunk contest detracted from creativity, Steve should of used Mooch, but the NBA is too cheap I guess. Not to mention the dunks they had to recreate prevented them from doing what they can do. The recreation crap has too go. Let these guys show more new school. The dunk where you have to use someone is stupid. There's too much of a chance to screw up. I'm glad Peja won the three contest, too bad all that comes out of it is: INTERNATIONAL NBA cool huh? It should have been PEJA is awesome, foreign or not! The 3 on 3 contest was a joke.You could really tell who needed the money.Then the game: I think it is only fitting that the NBA's NEW MARQUEE GUY gets booed, no less in his hometown.I knew sooner or later it would become obvious Kobe is going after every record he can.Better start thinking about next year STERN.There is a lot of talent out there.
