    What is the criteria of a good AG? Kind of absurd.

    Ashcrof appointed loyal repubs to find the Valerie Plame leakers, and that worked out fine.

    This is a red herring manufactured by idiots...surprise.

    How about someone who is neutral? Someone who will get to the bottom of the issue? Truthfully, I really never expected Holder to seriously look into this, but he could have appointed someone who at least looks neutral. Holder proved he was worthless when he refused to investigate blatant voter intimidation by the Black Panthers.

    No mention of the fact that Holder assigned TWO prosecutors to this investigation, and the other one was a Bush appointee?

    Besides which, is your position that you want the Attorney General to specifically look at an individual's campaign contributions when assigning jobs? And you believe anyone that donated money to a Presidential candidate should be deemed biased and incapable of being objective in their job?

    Nice sentiment but there are no neutral investigators.. Everyone has an agenda, from the SC down... I don't especially like Holder, but look at recent history send get back to me.

    The fact of the matter is that anybody who would be qualified to conduct the investigation will have been politically active. The question is whether this individual or group is capable of putting their politics aside in the name of discovering the truth. I see no evidence that the appointee is incapable of doing so.

    Let the investigation proceed. Nothing to see here.
