Rashard does not have skills that warrent giving him the max. It's just that simple. He is not good at taking his man off of the dribble, passing, handling the rock and he is avg at best on D. Lamar has the skill but needs to spend a couple of years proving that he is not going to screw up off of the court before he gets it. The max should be reserved for those players that excel on the court and maintain themselvs off of the court in such away that it does not creat distraction for the team or cheat his team out of valuable time because he is on a drug supension.
Neither of them deserves the Max. I wasn't too worried about Mo Taylor's contract because of his age,but no one could anticipated an injury like that before the season.
Rashard Lewis has made it public that he wants the max, but I haven't heard anything about Odom wanting it. Are you sure he wants it? Has he made it public?
If we trade these guys We have to address how much we pay them? Will they stay? Will they force trades etc? I mean let's take lessons from the barkley trade and the Pippen trade. Rocket River
No way. Even if Lamar was a perfect angel, he still doesn't have the skills to warrant being paid the max. My goodness!
