    I am curious about some of my conservative counterpart's occupations, and instead of making a thread singling out a few I did the next best thing.

    What is your occupation, and how does it affect your bias in politics?

    I am a full-time student and by summer a full time researcher. My bias stems from the academic setting. I believe in funding education from the ground up in order to preserve the existence the greatest American achievement - our science. I would cut funding for our military and farm subsidies in order to achieve this.

    I thought this thread was doing to be about peoples opinion on occupations, like the US occupation of Iraq.

    As for me. Architectural and urban design consultant.

    I am a lawyer who works with people who are often poor and downtrodden. It fuels my resentment with the American sytem to a degree not common among conservatives or the contented moderate types.
