He started for the 2002 season (and the New Orleans Bowl win) and the first 4 games of last season. He was the back-up but replaced starter Scott Hall in the first game of the 2002 season after Hall went down with an injury. Hall started the rest of the games last year, I believe, after the first four.

Sad news, though.
