Little wonder Shaquille O'Neal, known more for disparaging the competition, is already saying Yao "shall be The Man" someday. The Lakers and the Kings know they have company, as do the Spurs and Mavericks.

Now, Yao has a ways to go. I mean, lets all remember how we all labeled Cato the next great center for the Rockets after his great beginning. We are not making that mistake again, are we? Keeping level head, right? No articles on Yao being great or posts about how Yao will dominate for the next 15 years, right?

Oh, all that except ESPN is raving about Yao so I guess we can join the rejoicing!!
