    That can't be the final design for the black costume. It's just the classic duds minus the red and blue, no way they'd be that lazy.

    Plus, the comics version looks so badass.

    They've done just about everything right with this franchise, so that leads me to believe that's either just a monochromatic piece foreshadowing a darker tone for part 3 (look how angsty Spidey looks, on a dark rainy night no less!) or a just a teaser for a completely different black suit.

    Some rumors do indicate it's the black symbiote but has melded itself over the original costume. That would be alright with me. Either way, i'll be there opening night that's for damn sure.

    please...no symbiotes or any other of that stuff. peter parker's character is so normal that it helps allow for the suspension of reality on the spider parts...but when we start talking about creatures from outer space taking over, it starts to take it to a level i hope it doesn't go to.

    I believe they may use the origin from ultimate spider-man where the symbiote was created in a lab.

    Damn, so Topher Grace is Venom. That is pretty f'd up, he is in no way the person I'd have thought of for that role. Unless Venom is in the next one and this one is just has the venom suit on Spiderman.

    It's cool how we can tell so much about the new movie from this poster. "I am so excited!!!" :rolleyes:

    Why not make a poster that you can use in ALL the movies, since it doesn't say shiznit about the story? It sucks to have to GUESS what the movie will be about. :mad:

    I read some speculation that since there appears to be at least 2-3 villains in this movie, perhaps this will be where the "black suit" comes in. So this one could basically be about Spider-Man in the "black suit," defeating a couple of baddies (perhaps before/after experiencing something tragic) but then finding out that the "suit" is evil (and getting rid of it). Then the next movie could be about Spidey vs Venom...of course, that could still be Topher Grace, who might end up getting the "black suit" near the end of SM3.
