ok, im looking to make a personal cd....and i am stuck. i dont know what songs to put on it. but i do know what type of music i want on it. i would like the type of pick me up music, the type u just want to get up and dance to
    for example
    .
.i dont know who sings it, but i think its called 'walking on sunshine'. you should know it - its catchy and and upbeat song.

Katrina and the Waves sings "Walking on Sunshine". They made that song and combusted soon after.

If you're looking for similar songs from the same era you could try Rise Up by the Parachute Club or Safety dance by Men Without Hats. These were both Canadian bands, so I'm not sure how big these songs were in the US.

    Vacation by the Go-Go's.

Number 5 on f4p's all-time favorite songs list with "Walking on Sunshine" at #9.

Actually lots of Go-Go's songs are fast and catchy. Head over Heels and Our Lips are Sealed come to mind. I'm sure DEANBCURTIS knows more, he seems to like the Go-Go's a lot.
