Yao ming played great against the mavs but he really looked exhausted in the 4th quarter. I was just wondering how long does it take for a player to get into full NBA shape and NBA legs so they don't get overly exhausted by the 4th quarter? What sort of excercises should they do? What kind of diet should he be on?

Guys in the mid 7 foot range ALWAYS have trouble with fatigue. A 7'5" guy has a LOT more blood vessels and tissue than a 6'5 guy, so the heart has to work harder to provide blood to the rest of the body...

Isn't it amazing how everywhere on this board, people are confusing the fact that Ming was tired during the 4th quarter with him getting frozen out of the offense?
