You guys won't believe the steal i got this morning on a yahoo fantasy trade in one of my leagues.

There were these 4 people interested in Nowitzki and I was goin back and forth counter offering their deals for 2 hours...finally, this is the one that I got...and the thing is...it WILL go through, cuz it was with the commish of my league:

    I Gave:

    Dirk Nowitzki
    Pau Gasol
    Andrei Kirilenko
    Dajuan Wagner

    I Received:

    Shawn Marion
    Raef LaFrentz
    Ray Allen
Karl Malone (i hate him...but i'll take him)

    This is my roster now!'

    PG: Steve Francis
    SG: Ray Allen
    G: Stephon Marbury
    SF: Shawn Marion
    PF: Karl Malone
    F: Antawn Jamison
    C: Raef LaFrentz
    C: Vlade Divac
    UTIL: Yao Ming
    UTIL: Rick Fox
    BENCH: Peeler, Tskitishvili, Turkoglu

I'm pretty stoked about that team!

If you don't go undefeated with that lineup, the season will be a disappointment.

My first fantasy team of the season...the first draft is usually a warm up.

    PG Cassell, Sam (4)
    SG Bryant, Kobe (1)
    G Battier, Shane (6)
    SF Miles, Darius (8)
    PF Webber, Chris (2)
    F Thomas, Kurt (5)
    C Miller, Brad (7)
    C Ming, Yao (9)
    Util Snow, Eric (11i)
    Util Abdur-Rahim, Shareef (3)
    Bench Wesley, David (10)
    Bench Dickerson, Michael (12)
    Bench Harrington, Al (13)

I'm really in need of good 3 point shooters, assists, and blocked shots, so I proposed a trade: Cassell and Abdur-Rahim for Nash and Kirilenko. What do y'all think? Would I make this trade if I was an NBA GM? No! But in Fantasy, the purpose is to have a well-rounded team. Besides, having Abdur-Rahim and Webber on the same team is pretty redundant. And boy am I glad I passed on McDyess and picked Kurt Thomas in the 5th round. I feel sorry for the poor sap right after me who laughed at my pick and then took McDyess. :D
