Damn, that's a pretty good lineup. I'm glad they're still giving a lot of time to local artists, I wish there was more blues, though. I hope it's as affordable as last year and that they fix the entry problems from last year.

I saw Ghost Mountain a few months ago and they kick ass.

 

Medeski Martin & Wood and the Flaming Lips alone make it infinitely better than last year.

 

I want to see Dead Prez. That was the very first concert I ever attended.

 

I know you pride yourself on being ignorant about music, but a Flaming Lips jab? They're pretty damn huge.

HFPS was awesome last year but it was so ******* hot I had to buy like 65 bud light limes and it was like death compared to the Pabst Blue Ribbon I am used to.

i saw them at voodoo in october in nola. they stole the show.

 

The Flaming Lips rule! Wish I were there. I saw them touring their newest album in Sydney last year. You forget that they aren't just a life affirming spectacle band. They were also scary and trippy like classic Butthole Surfers. They haven't shown that side of themselves very often in recent years.
