I'm seriously considering making the hike from Houston to California so I can go to Coachella this year. The Sunday performance looks incredible with Tool, Massive Attack, Oakenfold, and Gabriel and Dresden among many others. On Saturday the headliners are Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, Franz Ferdinand, and Sigur Ros. Check out the full lineup at http://www.coachella.com . Has anybody ever gone? I'm looking for reccomendations as far as where to fly into, where to stay, etc..

i agree for the most part. but the presence of Tool can not be underestimated. ive been to a ton of shows of all types and i have seen tool three times and they always stick out in my mind as the best. i hope there coming through texas soon ill have to check on it.
