Being only the second Rocket game I watched this season I see something very special in this team. Rarely do I post but I read the damn post everyday. Anyhow today I saw one hell of a ball game and I'm jut a bit angry that everyone is making excuses why we lost the ball game down the stretch and all the people complaining about the lack of attendance we've recently had.

The Lakers are undoubtedy the best team in the league and we gave them our best and nearly defeated the two time defending champs. Watching the effort of all our players minus Cato and the enthusiasim of the crowd coming to their feet nearly brought tears to my eyes.

All I ask for is the Rockets to leave it all out on the floor like tonight and the crowd be this enthusiasic every game not just for the Lakers. Anyways, Much respect to the Rockets for giving their best effort and nearly pulling it out. :p

Pulling it out? It's too much to ask, right? ;)

I have to disagree. The Compaq crowd is enthusiastic only when it's a close game. If you ask me, the crowd sucked in the first half. Until the Rockets got close then they began making some noise. I understand that we fans would turn cold and quiet when the home team is not doing too well. But how about yelling and screaming some to give the players on the floor some encouragement? Letting the players know we are still here supporting them? Having the Lakers fans out-scream us at a HOME game is a very embarrassing experience.

Other than that, I have no complaints. No complaints about the players, except the one you pointed out. ;)
