Man, she really is. Yesterday she had surgery to remove a kidney stone. Today, she went right back to work.

    She simply amazes me sometimes.

She is tougher than I am. I had kidney stones and the next day I was curled up on the floor sucking my thumb because of the pain.

BTW, I hear that Kindney Stone pain is supposed to be the man equivalent of a woman giving birth.

She wasn't in a lot of pain, but it was dangerous where it was. What amazes me is that she has a 90 minute surgery, and 19 hours later, she is back at work.

She's tougher than any 3 guys I know.

Most real men acknowledge that women handle pain so much better than we do. Yeah, I could take my wife in a cage match, but she is definitely tougher. If we were captured by the enemy, I'd be singing in no time, but I doubt she ever would.

Man, I would never want to go through kidney stones again. I had kidney stones (2) this past summer, got up and started throwing up for about 30 minutes. I went to work anyway like a moron and sat down for 10 mins before the pain was too painful, so I drove myself....................home. Duh. Suffered through pain for another 20 minutes before I said "hey there's something wrong here", so I drove myself to the emergency room.

I ended up finding out I had kidney stones and 2 or 3 days later found out I had herniated a disc in my back due to the hurling. That herniated disc turned slammed up against a sciatic nerve that caused my leg to feel like it was on fire and being beaten on with a club if I walked for more than 20 seconds.

I umm... passed... the kidney stones a few days later, but about 2 months later had to have back surgery because the pain was too much and the nerve in my leg was dying to the point I was starting to drag it.

The surgery stuff is pretty amazing nowadays. I had surgery to remove the herniated portion of the disc in my back and was walking around the same day. Of course the doc wouldn't let me go back to work for 2 weeks. But I'm feeling much better now.... :D

I honestly would rather have the kidney stone pain than the pain I endured with the nerve damage. Of course I spent 2 weeks in Cali following the Rockets while I nearly dragged my leg behind me.... it's tough hitting on chicks when you're walking around like Quasimodo. :(
