    New Line Cinema has released a second trailer for “Barbarian” director Zach Cregger’s new film “Weapons”.

    The mystery unfolds in the small town of Maybrook. Seventeen children wake up and voluntarily walk out the front door of their homes at 2:17am one morning – inexplicably disappearing without a trace.

    All were from the same school class. In the wake of this, the community looks for answers while struggling to comprehend what may have happened to them.

    Josh Brolin and Julia Garner leads the cast which also includes Alden Ehrenreich, Benedict Wong, Amy Madigan, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, June Diane Raphael and Toby Huss.

    Cregger directs from his own screenplay, and also produces alongside Roy Lee, Miri Yoon, J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules.

    “Weapons” will be released in U.S. cinemas on August 8th 2025.

    The trailer for this move was in front of F4, scared the **** out of my 7 and 10 year-olds.

    This clip dropped today- looks pretty good.

    The reviews, for what it’s worth, are coming back top notch. I say ‘for what it’s worth’ because the review industry tends to follow trends and have gotten it completely wrong before.

    Watched yesterday. Good movie that keeps you guessing and thinking about it when it's over.

    There are rumors of a prequel. I'm interested in exploring this universe more. Being a potential horror franchise, it will probably go off the rails at some point but I'll watch until it does.

    I did not like it at all. So many unexplained things, and a very boring second half of the movie. The atmosphere was great for the first half, but when they started to show what happened it got boring fast.
