I think there was a thread about this movie a few days ago but I could not find it. Question for anyone who saw the movie: Spoiler below: #1 When Northcutt went after the three kids who escaped he shot one of them. Was it Walter he shot? If so why did Davey not tell the cops when they asked him what happened to Walter? #2 Northcutt originally told the mother in the courtroom that he did not kill Walter and later the telegram said he did. When she confronted him at San Quentin he said that he had confessed his sins and did not want to lie again. Which was the lie the telegram or the courtroom confession? Great movie BTW, Angelina Jolie for Best Actress!
