I'm usually pretty good at coming up with something, but this year i'm stumped. I also don't have time at all to shop around by Sunday. Panic mode is starting to set in... What are you giving / doing for mom?
Jeez, guys...give the guy a hand. For my mom, my brothers and sisters and I are all pitching in $50.00 apiece to get her a $250.00 gift certificate to a spa. For Tara...wait...she was on this board today...can't tell...sorry.
My mom lives in Las Vegas and my two sisters and I pitched in and order some Blue Bell ice cream to be dry iced down and delivered to her office (where a bunch of ex-pat Texans work). Needless to say, they were all quite jealous and my mom was extremely appreciative. My wife and I are going to her jeweler tomorrow to replace her wedding rings settings. My wife has definitely been on her best behavior as of late.
A gift certificate to a spa is always good. If you don't want to do that, take her out for brunch or dinner.
I wrote poems for wifey and moms. Sunday is church then dinner. Monday I initiate my Father's day plans...

My sisters and I are flying my parents out to Vegas and providing them with a room for three nights. That's for Mothers' Day, Fathers' Day, anniversary and birthdays.
