My Dad and I took my Mom to dim sum at Fung's Kitchen. They usually open at 10:30, which is when we got there. Unbeknownst to us, for Mothers Day, they opened an hour early. It was mobbed. We waited 30 minutes. But it's the best traditional dim sum in town, so it was worth the wait. And it was goooooood. Tonight I'm cooking Mothers Day dinner for my girlfriend and her son. Oven fried chicken, tomato/cucumber/garbanzo salad, and corn on the cob. I'm a nice boyfriend for a scumbag musician, eh?
Happy Mothers day all!!! I took my mommy for lunch at Cafe Montrose. They had a fixed menu. Reminded me of when she visted me in Paris. ...Oh yeah restaruants were a mob scene eveywhere.
