All of our hesitation rests on whether Ming could get here early and stay with the team and recieve NBA coaching, etc. If he were a Junior coming out of any college in the nation, he would undoubtably be #1.

When it comes down to it, Ming's contacts in China want to get paid --- plain and simple. If the Rocks pay the jack, Ming will be here as long as possible. I know, I know - there is a "salary ceiling" for rookies, but I mean that the Rockets need to send about 5 coaches like Del Harris over to China to provide the "trade" that the Chinese government and CBA is looking for. The extra 500,000,000 jersey's sold world-wide outta pay for this...

    Yalls thoughts?

    Great point!

Hell, TexanJohn, if he were a HSer he would go #1. And surely, I'd have to think that the league he's coming from is much better than American HS BBall.
