IMO it takes effort to step down from power when your time is done. Holding on feels like the selfish/easy thing to do.

Or the same standard that my team, the Democrats, doesn't apply to senators like DiFi and big bald brain damage guy? We need to clean house of people who are significantly damaged by aging. It's pretty sad to watch. I don't remember this being true back in the day, but maybe politics got less coverage and we had several senators who were not fit for basic speaking engagements.

My recollection was that Dems (majority of them) did indeed want Feinstein to resign.

I don't have a problem with people with disabilities serving.

 

It's pretty messed up to crack jokes about this. I don't like the guy, but I don't find anything funny about him having a seizure or mini stroke, or whatever was happening with him.

 

Biden isn’t far from this.

 

I don't disagree and hope he fully recovers and lives however long enough it takes to be voted out of office.

I will say that I knew a guy years ago that went into a diabetic coma and it was the same deal; he was moving and talking one second and the next he just completely froze up and couldn't move or even blink, from what I recall. I hate to admit it but it was actually quite hilarious to witness.
