We all know ABC cancelled the broadcast of the Rockets-Spurs game in favor of two teams on the bottom half of the East. Most of us expressed the concern of lack of respect for the Rockets by the media.

However, I think this is more indictive of today's individualism in society. The Rockets are the incarnation of team basketball and that's how this game is SUPPOSED to be played. But the media and the average fans appear to be much more eager to see Dwayne Wade's individual heroics in his quest to MVP instead of BASKETBALL, which REAL bball fans would have chosen.

So my conclusion is, there might have been a lil lack of recognition for the Rockets, but once we start wacking people in the playoffs with our pure basketballism, the respect will come.

P.S. I have to say, the mere presence of Ron Artest brings more national media attention than the rest of the team minus Mac would
