Mechanic Suggestions

    i have a 99 4 Runner and need a tune-up. any suggestions for a mechanic in or near the loop? i live off of 59 and shepard so if its a little outside the loop that would be ok. thanks

    I use Darden's Automotive Repair, near Stella Link and Willowbend, just outside the loop on the southwest side. They're reputable, fair, and they do great work. They will not BS you.

    Go to Auto-Tech on pagewood. It's off of hillcroft between westpark and richmond. Ask for nathan. He works on my bmw.

    He used to work for Momentum and Greenway Mercedes but does japanese cars as well.

    I always use Kelly's at the corner of 18th and TC Jester. They are great and very fair.

    Speaking of which, does anyone know of a good, CHEAP, place to get electrical work done? My car's been going haywire recently. (Land Rover)

    Go to Angel's on Chimney Rock near Westbury High. He is a friend of the family and I have been going there for years.
