Ok I don't want to sound all happy-happy. But if we're really going to win a championship I want to win it proving we are the best team. Not winning it by luck of the draw that the Lakers got knocked out of the playoffs early before we had the chance to play them.

I was just as down as anyone last night. We had a easy path to the WCF then blew it. So what? We're a great team and I believe we can match up with Lakers even better now that Bynum is back. Rick Adelman is a smart coach. He gave Kobe and Shaq a run for their money for a couple years with his Kings team. As I recall he had no one of Yao's caliber on that team and they played no defense. Going into these playoffs I feel good about Rick's ability to lead a team into battle with the NBAs' best.

Also I want our team to be UNITED. I want Tmac to be on the bench. Tmac's basketball IQ is so high he can improve our team by sitting down and talking to our guys while they aren't on the court.

There's no turning back now. Portland is up first and they will be giving it their all. Good thing is, if we give our all we'll sweep them. Our team is just that deep and talented that Portland's young guns can't match up with at this point in time... too weak at the center position.

I don't want to start a new thread but heres a question. It's been awhile since I've seen Yao and Tmac play together but did we EVER have problems this bad not being able to get Yao the ball when he is fronted? I mean did Tmac ever have the same problems we had last night getting Yao the ball or was fronting him not an option when Tmac was out there slashing and getting to the rim or making nice passes setting up teammates under the basket?
