    Looks like chessmaster Maori has countered against Kerr's opening Suns Free Agent Gambit...

    After the obviously Steve-Kerr-planted Suns/Capela story leaks just before the WCF begins, Maori searches for a way to get into the Warriors' heads.

    Finally, he unleashes his Klay Thompson Contract Countermove: That Thompson is willing to re-sign with the Dubs at a big discount, unselfishly leaving some $50M-$75M on the table so the dynasty won't die. The problem? The story is total bullshit, according to Bay Area sportswriter Greg Papa, who contacted the team and Thompson's agent:



    Now if there's no truth to the story, I wonder how it got started?
    What devious mind would want to get Klay all riled up a few days before the WCF?

    Some show on ESPN, two commentators casually flick the Rockets off like mosquitoes. Highly social-conscious lady says 6 games because she respects the Rockets season. She didn't praise CP3 (one of the finest season ever, or MVP), just Rockets had a hell of a season, so she says 6 games. The other host says it is a must-win 1st game for Rockets, or it will be over in 5. To the point, both meant to say just book the Warriors.
