LCD TV vs. Wii Remote - TV FIXED !!!

    As many of you know, my 4 year old tossed the Wii remote into the middle of a Westinghouse 37" 1080p LCD about 9 months ago.

    Me being the pack rat that I am kept the TV in the garage, hoping to be able to order a replacement screen.

    I called Westinghouse over and over only to be told, nope, you can not order the screen.

    So, I watched EBay and Craiglist like a hawk hoping to find another one with a different problem....it took 8 months but I finally found one with a power supply issue.

    I bought it on Ebay had it shipped took the two apart, and now have a fully functional LCD again....

    WOOHOOO...score one for the pack rat......the only problem is that I have nowhere to put it......

    But the packrat won out....and it only cost me an extra $300....which is still far less than buying another one.

    WOOT !!

    Nice. Surprised the person just didn't have their PS fixed. From what I've read that's the most typical problem with flat screens (besides Wiitalities).
