    Anyone know what madmax is up to these days. Last I heard he had child support problems but that was a long time ago

    I can't find any legit news on Max since his arrest for not paying child support. He has to be out by now as that arrest was in April 2009 I believe. A reminder to those who look down on him for failing to pay his child support - it was based on what he was making as a starter in the NBA. When he retired and his annual salary dropped drastically he was still responsible for the NBA starter level payments. His salary actually started to plunge after he left the Rockets -- I think he was making vet minimum when he played with the Kings.

    He no doubt has many failings, but I hope somehow he gets it together so we can celebrate his contributions to our championship in 94' without the asterisk.

    Madmax will be liked in Houston for his on court antics but his off court ones make him a sorry human being. Personally, now that he can't play for us anymore I would rather concentrate on real basketball heroes like Hakeem.
