I bought a Compaq Notebook in mid-April. It's worked beautifully the entire time except for one thing-the screen. It looks fine, but when I try to position it, it's like it's loose. It'll just flop back into a different position than I want it in, and when I pick it up, it flops around too. Now, is this normal? If not, what do you think the problem might be?

    Thanks.

This is not normal behavior for a new laptop. I would definitely take it back for a replacement or for warranty work because a loose screen will definitely get worse as time goes on and will possibly shorten the life of the screen (and entire computer).

    Thanks, that's what I figured.
