Empire Cafe is good, though not necessarily quaint, or in Midtown (though it is near...)

 

Fatty, I'm sure you would like Harry's on Elgin. I go there all the time for breakfast meetings.

 

My friend works there. I think it's pretty decent.. altho the price is a little steep for the quality that they put out. My friend said JVG used to come there a lot when he was a coach.

 

There's also Baba Yega's and Ziggy's.
