You so badly want to trash reed that you can’t even bother to look up the name of the guy you are using to do it, pathetic.

I don’t like the comparison. But Kon. He’s actually a better ball handler. He has more size and he’s pretty strong; he’s not gonna get bullied. He’s a generational shooter. Very high bball IQ. He’s younger. I was extremely high on Kon in the draft process last yr. I had him as a better prospect than Reed and I think so far that has born out.

but I predict they will both be excellent players with very successful careers.

    Why is this a question?

    Kon is quite obviously better...

It is Reed and it isn't close.

Kon is a very good shooter, but Reed will be a distributor too.

    Kon is better now

castle is better but not by as much as people try to imply (dude gets wide open dunks all game)

but Kon looks to be on a Bird trajectory

I don't think so at all, I think Kon is in a better situation - and that fits his game.

Reed has had to put up with a MORON as coach and is learning a new position.

I like Castle but he is also in a perfect position for his skills that mask his deficiencies.

Kon right now looks like arguably the best player in a much stronger draft. He'd easily go #1 in Reed's draft. Just has too many attributes that set him apart tbh, different positions obviously but Kon likely has more star potential than Reed if we're being truthful about it.

They’re different players in way different situations. In another one of the threads there was a stat about catch and shoot 3’s vs. 3’s off the dribble, and if I’m not mistaken Kon shoots 80-90% of his 3’s off the catch whereas Reed creates his own. Kon has the benefit of playing with a creator, as an undisputed 2nd option, with consistent playing time and a defined role. I think it’s really difficult to compare Reed to other players because frankly he’s in about as bad a situation as a young player can be. Ime has done Reed no favors so far, and I can’t wait for him to make the FVV/Reed roles as awkward as possible next year.

:D “And it isn’t close” just shows your blind bias. You can have your opinion one way or another, but saying “it isn’t close” is just biased dude. If they got thrown in a same hypothetical draft right this minute most of the teams would take Kon.

Every team would take Kon. I think DD is just trolling for fun at this point.

Yes, it is my opinion, that it isn't close, you have Kon who is a great shooter, and good all around player, but he isn't a number 1 option or a guy that controls the game, which I think Reed is......

And you don't know that most teams would take or whom they would take, that is just your opinion.....so we have different opinions....fine with me.
