I think everyone is too busy looking for a KMART or watching People's Court.

Saw a doc about this guy a while back called "Brainman" I believe. His handicap was pretty severe, but his memorization and reading skills were superhuman. Seemed like he'd had a pretty good life, considering.

I saw something similar a year or so ago, I think. I remember them saying that the guy remembers something like 95-98% of everything he reads. They said he reads a book by using his left eye to read the left page and his right eye to read the right page simultaneously. He used read something like 5-10 books a day. He's pretty much the definition of a walking encyclopedia. Watching that documentary on him was one of the few things on tv that actually made me cry (there, I said it). I remember how his father was still taking care of him and wondering what Kim would do if his father died. If his father's still alive, there's a part of me kind of thankful because I think it's probably best Kim went first. I'm sure Dustin Hoffman will be affected by this. He truly was one of the most incredible human beings I had ever heard of. I honestly wanted to meet the guy. This is a sad day.
